Our Inspirational Story

Seven years ago, what began as a simple idea among a group of high school classmates slowly grew into something extraordinary. Back then, we came together out of pure passion and friendship, performing for local processions during Ganeshotsava and Paryaya celebrations in Udupi. What started as fun quickly transformed into a calling.

Over the years, our dedication and discipline turned that small team into a professional Nasik Band ensemble of 30+ talented members. With every beat of the drum and every note of the tassa, people began to feel our energy — and soon, invitations poured in for weddings, processions, and festivals across the region.

Our journey has taken us far beyond Udupi, with performances in Thane (Maharashtra), Thrissur (Kerala), Kalasa, Dandeli, Raichur, Dakshina Kannada, and many more places. We were also the first in Udupi to introduce the Puneri-style bass and tassa, bringing a unique rhythm to the local celebrations. Along with traditional beats, we also perform Punjabi dhol, especially to add that spark of joy to weddings.

But for us, it’s not just about music — it’s about purpose. We proudly participated in initiatives like *Swachh Bharat Abhiyan* on Environment Day, proving that our rhythm can not only celebrate life but also inspire positive change.

From a high school dream to a professional, disciplined, and spirited team, our story is a testament to passion, teamwork, and the power of music to unite people. Today, Shri Veera Vinayaka Nasik Band stands as a symbol of energy, tradition, and unforgettable celebrations.
